We have all seen what’s out there for team building games and activities.  Same old hat; some scavenger hunts, three-legged-races and hokey murder mysteries.  But what happens if you take people who have spent their careers forging teams and building bonds that their lives depend on, and allow them to create a new team building exercise?  We believe you come up with something as groundbreaking as our new Task Force 24 team building exercise.

Special Operations Soldiers and Law Enforcement Professionals are no strangers to task forces.  They quite often find themselves attached to one for the purpose of bringing a variety of special skills from different entities to one place for one mission.  If you think about it, a company or business is kind of like a task force.  It brings the talents of different groups together for the purpose of accomplishing a definite objective.  For example, your contracting, operations and recruiting folks may often find themselves in the same conference room collaborating.  Similarly, a police investigation may call for the expertise of local detectives who know the area and local criminal element, FBI agents who have the federal reach and resources, ATF agents to quickly determine the owner or history of any firearms and district attorneys to advise on legal strategy and assistance with search warrants.  Collectively, they push the pace and achieve results faster and more effectively them any single entity.  Additionally, they all learn a bit about each other's responsibilities and may actually perform those tasks with their fellow task force members.  In the end, they are all more well rounded and have new perspectives about each other's value.

So, we have taken the task force model and developed a 6-hour exercise for companies and organizations that will developed them into better team members...all while having a blast!  Task Force 24 takes a group of 12-20 employees and provides them some training in interviews/interrogations, surveillance and working undercover.  They are introduced to the MissionX team of special operations veterans and former law enforcement investigators who will manage the exercise.  The employees are now members of Task Force 24, a special investigative unit assembled to investigate, disrupt and arrest members of a global crime syndicate known as "The Program".  New intelligence indicates that elements of The Program are in the city and planning to execute a serious criminal "score", "heist", etc.  From the unit's operations room, the team will plan and deploy every hour.  Teams of 2-3 members are tasked with a variety of investigative actions to include interviewing informants, following suspects, executing search warrants, performing undercover work and more.  As they return to the operations room, they share information and perform link analysis and other tasks in order to exploiting all leads.  Everything about the exercise feels like a real investigation from the pieces of evidence, documents, operations room and role players all the way to the MissionX team members who are with you the entire time.  Along the way, there are many lessons learned and opportunities for all team members to stand out.  Additionally, there are plenty of surprises we don't want to reveal here.

Task Force 24 is a unique team building experience designed to build trust, confidence and teamwork while producing better communication, improved cross-functionality, increased productivity and greater effectiveness.  Make your next team building days unforgettable.
