MISSIONX.com is operated by killerapps, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
If you subscribe: your email address, the date and time you subscribed, and the page or form you subscribed from. If you give us a name, we store that too.
If you email us: your email address and whatever you write to us.
When you visit: standard server and analytics data — pages requested, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type. We use this in aggregate to understand what readers actually read.
When you receive our email: whether the message was delivered, whether it was opened, and which links were clicked. This is ordinary email analytics and we use it to decide what to cover and to stop mailing people who have stopped reading.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers. We do not use your data to build profiles for third parties.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you subscribed. We process site analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the publication. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Who processes data for us
We use service providers to operate the publication — email delivery, website hosting and storage, and analytics. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber records for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal suppression record — your email address and the fact that you opted out — permanently. That record exists specifically so we can never mail you again by accident, and deleting it would defeat that purpose.
Your choices
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately. You can also ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to the address below. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; if you are in California you have the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
Cookies
We use only what the site needs to function and to measure readership in aggregate. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Children
MISSIONX is a trade publication for an adult professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
